TRIBUTES

This page is dedicated to our previous beloved dogs that have served and lived well. We love them all and enjoyed the time we spent together. May the memories only grow stronger.

Bossy

Bossy was our beloved Female Yellow Labrador Retriever. She lived a good life and loved us us through lots of change, moves, other dogs, and lots more over the past 12 years. She was an amazingly sweet family member and we will miss her lots. She brought us tons of joy and loved to play and cuddle. Bossy was a gentle protector,  kept a watchful eye on the safety of the kids, and also all our other pets, including several rabbits, a hamster, a few puppies, our birds, and our fish.  If Dad wasn't home, she would sleep at the top of the stairs to make sure nothing moved without her noticing.

Bossy made sure everything was in place and everyone was happy. If this was not the case, she would come and give you a big slobbery kiss on your face to wipe away those tears. We will miss her and always cherish those memories. We are now relived that she does not have to suffer anymore due to her cancer and arthritis. We love you, Bossy!

Bossy would give you this look to try and cheer you up and it always worked.

She loved being outside in nature but she wouldn't hurt a fly. (She is actually watching a wild rabbit)

Chief

Chief was our Male Rottwieller-Collie Cross. He was a wonderful dog to have while we were growing up as kids. He was playful and protective when needed. He was smart and learned quickly. Unfortunately, Chief only stayed with us a little while, and then went on to live at a home with more room to run.   He was a very active as a puppy and grew into a wonderful young adult. We miss him, but are happy to know that he is in a great home with lots of room to run and play.

Mocha
Mocha was our Female Red Standard Poodle. She was spoiled rotten. She was a wonderful dog with an amazing temperament. She was very calm and loved to be around people. Sadly, she was very homesick. She is now living back in her original home where she is happy and content to be with her previous owner. We will miss her a lot but we are glad that she is happy and back where she belongs. To see some of her puppies, see our Standard Poodle Gallery

Mocha loved to play fetch with herself. She would throw the ball for herself and then chase after it. She learned a lot of new tricks when she was here. She learned to shake-a-paw, sit pretty, lay-down, and more.

Brooklyn
Brooklyn was one of our prospective Goldendoodle mothers. She was a wonderful and beautiful Golden Retriever with a gorgeous coat and sweet personality. She was a great dog. She lived in a guardian home and was loved and spoiled to no end.

She came from really good parents and had a wonderful face to match her parents' good looks. She was gentle, good with cats, kids, and other dogs. She was calm and even tempered and enjoyed going to obedience classes with her guardian family. She was a sweet little doll and loved to give kisses. She was an all around wonderful family dog.

She had the sweetest smile

Brooklyn started to experience fainting spells and was diagnosed by the vet to have problems with her heart through an ECG. The problem seemed to be getting worse and follow up testing (with an ultrasound) revealed a mass in her heart that was interfering with the blood flow. Upon vet consultation, we came to the devastating decision that the humane thing to do was to let her go, so that she wouldn't suffer any longer. We were assured by the vet that the problem was not genetic, however there was no treatment available that would allow her to live a full and healthy life. We are all mourning this loss but she will be greatly remembered and loved forever.

Ginger
Ginger is our beloved female Apricot Miniature Poodle. She has made an excellent pet, and is very intelligent and funny. She was in our breeding program for many years. She was one of our first dogs and a very important part of our family. She produced 4 healthy litters of puppies for us and is now retired from breeding. She is still doing well and is healthy. She is happy to be the only dog in the house as she lives with Amanda.

Ginger was an excellent mother. She has successfully raised all of her puppies, both apricots and blacks, from a litter of 4 in 2004,  a litter of only 2 in 2005, and a litter of 5 in 2006. To see some of the pictures from previous litters, check out our Miniature Poodle Gallery Page. We are happy that she is now enjoying retirement and will be enjoying life on a big acreage with lots of room to run and play. We hope for her to have a long and happy life.

Littles
Littles was our Male Apricot Miniature Poodle. He is a happy, lovable little guy. He is well mannered, trained, and does tricks. He loves people (especially kids), cats and other dogs. He is a very loving poodle, that isn't shy, high strung or barky. He loves to cuddle, give kisses, and visit the neighbors. To state the obvious, he is very friendly. He is such a cutie and is very photogenic. He produced wonderful pups (although not for us), passing on his good looks, great temperament, and wonderful color. He also has a very soft and easily maintained coat. He now lives with a family that loves and cares for him. We hope he enjoys retirement, even though we were not able to enjoy his presence in our breeding program for very long.
